We are situated in the scenic hills of Gilead near Zai, As-Salt, Jordan, approximately 32 km from Amman. You can reach us via the Salt highway or the Amman–Jerash road.

Are pets allowed in the resort?
At Mountain Breeze, we welcome dogs under seven kilos in our outdoor public areas. Pets must always remain on a leash, and owners are expected to clean up after them. Only well-behaved, non-aggressive dogs are permitted, and excessive barking or disruptive behavior may result in the pet being asked to leave. Please note that pets are not allowed inside the lodges. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a comfortable environment for all our guests.
Can you arrange decorations or special amenities for a celebration?
Yes, if you’re celebrating a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary, we’re happy to arrange decorations and custom amenities upon request. Whether it’s in your lodge or at any of our outlets, just let us know in advance and we’ll help make your celebration truly special.
Do you offer airport pick-up and drop-off, or transportation from the city or other locations in the Kingdom?
Yes, we can arrange transportation to and from the airport, Amman city, or anywhere else in the Kingdom upon request. Please contact us in advance to schedule your transfer and confirm rates and availability.
Is parking available at Mountain Breeze Lodge & Resort?
Yes, we offer free parking for all guests. Whether you’re staying overnight, attending an event, or visiting for the day, convenient on-site parking is available. Valet parking is available on weekends, public holidays and during special events.

What types of lodges are available?
We offer One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom lodges, crafted from premium Northern European wood, each featuring private terraces with panoramic views of the Gilead Mountains.
What’s the capacity of each Lodge Type?
The One-Bedroom lodge accommodates two persons and one child under the age of six years old.
The Two-Bedroom lodge accommodates four persons and one child under the age of six years old.
Are children allowed in the lodges?
Yes, children under six years old can stay free of charge sharing the lodge with parents. Baby cribs are available upon request.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
What is the cancelation policy?
A full payment is required seven days prior to arrival. Cancellations made at least seven days before the check-in date will not incur any charges. Cancellations made within seven days of arrival will be subject to full charges.
Is it allowed to bring in food and drink from outside the resort?
To maintain the quality of service and experience for all our guests, outside food and beverages are not permitted in the resort’s public areas, restaurants, lodges, or poolside facilities.
Is Shisha served or are we allowed to bring our own?
For the comfort, safety, and well-being of all our guests, shisha (hookah) is not served or permitted anywhere within Mountain Breeze Lodge & Resort.

The Mountain Breeze Terrace is an all-day dining destination specializing in Levantine cuisine. Guests can enjoy a variety of hearty dishes made with only the freshest ingredients, all served in a stunning garden setting with 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains—offering an unmatched culinary experience. Open daily from 10:00 am until 11:00 pm.
The Nutshell Bar & Lounge is our cozy on-site bar, offering a laid-back, rustic atmosphere where guests can unwind with signature cocktails, fine wines, curated spirits, and a menu of snacks and hearty mains. Whether you’re gathered by the fireplace or enjoying the fresh air on the terrace, it’s the perfect spot to relax, connect, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Open daily from 2:00 pm until 12:00 am.
Idalia Italian Dining is our open-air Italian restaurant offering a serene garden setting with partial views of the surrounding mountains. Rooted in authenticity and simplicity, Idalia serves a curated menu of classic Italian dishes crafted with seasonal ingredients and a passion for tradition.Whether you’re enjoying a long afternoon lunch under the shade or a candlelit dinner with fresh countryside air, Idalia is where rustic charm meets refined flavor—inviting you to slow down, savor, and connect. Open daily (except Tuesdays) from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and on Fridays & Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Mountain Breeze Lodge & Resort provides guests with several hiking experiences suitable for different interests and fitness levels:
- Gilead Tour by Local: This guided three-hour hike takes you through the historic village of Gilead. Along the way, you’ll explore ancient sites such as the Umayyad mosque and the Roman olive mill. The tour also offers a cultural experience by allowing you to interact with the local community and enjoy a traditional meal in a local home.
- Tree House Trail: A self-guided, short walk within the resort’s premises leads you to a unique treehouse built atop a 450-year-old oak tree. This trail is suitable for both children and adults, offering a delightful experience amidst nature.
- Nature Walks: Guests can enjoy leisurely walks through the resort’s lush forests, which are home to diverse flora and fauna. These walks provide an opportunity to connect with nature and observe the region’s unique biodiversity.
Is the swimming pool available year-round?
At Mountain Breeze, we offer two outdoor, climate-controlled pools: a family pool and an adults-only pool. Both are open daily from May to October, from 10:00 AM until sunset, providing a refreshing escape with stunning views of the surrounding forest.
Day-use access is available for outside guests, with entrance fees of JD 35.00 per adult and JD 20.00 for children over three years old. Changing rooms with lockers and showers are provided for your convenience.
What is the allowed age on the adults-only swimming pool?
The adult’s pools is available for guests above 18 years old.

Do I need to bring my own paintball gear?
All necessary gear is provided on-site, except for shoes. Please make sure to wear comfortable, supportive shoes suitable for running, as the terrain is rough and hilly.

The archery range offers guests a chance to test their precision and focus in a tranquil outdoor setting. It is a fun and safe activity suitable for beginners and enthusiasts alike. Guests receive a quick orientation on basic techniques and safety, with all equipment provided. The range is conveniently located within the resort grounds and is open during daylight hours. What is the cancellation policy?
